Business cards are cards containing business data about a firm or individual. They are used during formal introductions as a utility and a memory aid. A business card conventionally includes the bearer's name, business affiliation (usually without a symbol) and contact data such as street addresses, telephone number(s), fax number, e-mail addresses and website. It can also include telex, bank account, tax code. Historically most cards were straightforward black text on white stock. Now a professional business card will sometimes include one or more elements of striking visual identity.
