Business cards are cards containing business info about a business or person. They are presented during first introductions as a convenience and a memory help. It can also contain telex, bank account, tax code. Traditionally majority cards were plain black text on white stock. Nowadays a professional business card will usually include one or more elements of attractive visual look.
