Business cards are cards bearing business data about a company or person. They are presented during formal meetings as a convenience and a memory help. A business card routinely has the bearer's name, firm affiliation (seldom with a seal) and contact information such as street addresses, telephone number(s), fax number, e-mail addresses and website. It can also contain telex, bank account, tax code. Historically many cards were straightforward black text on white stock. Nowadays a professional business card will often bear one or more elements of noticeable visual design.
