Business cards are cards containing business data about a firm or individual. They are given during formal meetings as a utility and a memory backing. A business card conventionally contains the bearer's name, firm affiliation (often with a crest) and contact information such as street addresses, telephone number(s), fax number, e-mail addresses and website. It can also have telex, bank account, tax code. Historically most cards were simple black text on white stock. Today a professional business card will sometimes contain one or more aspects of noticeable visual style.
